BEN AND BAWB'S BLOG- A blog of two brothers: published writers, gun nuts, former soldiers, and recovering Republicrats both. From the purple mountain majesties of Montana comes Bawb, bitterly clinging to God and his guns. From the fruited plain of Iowa comes Ben, a patriot Walter Mitty. Wielding the sacred power of the written word the way a three-year-old might wield his daddy's shotgun, these are their musings.*

Armed For Liberty
Alan Gura and Robert A. Levy, two lawyers on the right side of the DC gun case have a good article in today's Legal Times Online. Alan Gura is a partner at Gura & Possessky in Alexandria, Va. Robert A. Levy is senior fellow in constitutional studies at the Cato Institute in Washington, D.C. Gura, Levy, and Clark Neily are co-counsel to Heller.
Ever notice Darth Vader, bad guys in old Westerns, and the Supremes are all dressed in black? I sure hope this one goes the right way. The language the Founding Fathers used was/is pretty simple, but somewhere along the way it was decided by the courts that the Constitution is a "living" document that just keeps sprouting new nodes and pustules like something out of a B-garde horror movie.
