ECONOMIC DISASTER FOR DUMMIES

With much wailing and gnashing of teeth, fighting the urge to bang my head against the wall, I have to isolate myself from the mainstream "news". The insanity is beyond comprehension. Everywhere the news is trumpeted; "247,000 Jobs Lost Equals Brilliant Economic Recovery!" "Only 3 Million Newly Unemployed in 2009 is Sign of New Boom Times!" "Good News! The Alligator Bit Your Head Off...But Didn't Get Your Neck!"

This BS is truly Orwellian. To think that 247,000 more people losing their jobs is somehow tremendous progress because they were expecting 248,000?!?! We're still losing jobs, you morons. This is asinine and beyond the pale. Has everyone gone insane?!?! Do they really expect us to be stupid enough to swallow this nonsensical tripe?
