I was kinda hoping for belt-fed full-auto or an M203, either of which I would deem completely appropriate for the situation.
If she's grabbing something out of another room, it should have been at least a 12 Ga (though I really like Bawb's idea of a belt fed auto). The Glock should have been on her person on the street, and she should have continued to carry it throughout her apartment.
